San Antonio is mainly a small agricultural village that sits as the gateway to the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. U.S. Route 380 begins in San Antonio and Interstate 25 runs along the west of us. We are 28 miles west of Trinity Site, where the first nuclear bomb was detonated in 1945.
