The Casa de Flecha 10.2 miles from Buckhorn Tavern (also known as the Abeytia and Armijo House) was constructed in the boom times of 1886 and is the largest brick residence in Socorro, New Mexico. The current name is derived from the weather vane at the top of the turret.
The Monette family took over the house more than 50 years ago. Slowly they brought the house back to its old glory. Over the years many family photos have been taken on the front porch. After Ernie's grandparents passed I knew I wanted to get one last family photo on the porch before the house was sold.
